The first challenge!
The Drum Tower is visible
from my hotel room. My guess is that we were about 2km from the hotel
at this point. Before coming I had been warned that crossing major
streets was hazardous to your health. I followed the group. In reality
it was not bad. Everyone obeyed the signs.
As in many parts of the world taxis are exempt from all traffic laws,
but they were labeled and we just avoided them.
