The next morning our buses
headed the same direction we walked the previous day. They let us off
at almost the same point we turned down the alley.
This is Hutong a historic
residential area that happens to be near the hotel. The law keeps the
high rises out of the 2nd ring road. Thus the inner area is made up of
neighborhoods and low buildings.
We set out on foot to meet with rickshaws which were going to give us a further tour.
