The buses let us out
across from TiananMen Square. We then proceeded by foot to the square.
The gate to the Forbidden
City which is the traditional icon of Communist China is in the
distance.
The people across the street are queuing up for Mao's tomb. Since it was at least in the high twenties by this point and it would take at least 3 hours we skipped that.
