ANI is a short walk from the hotel.  I have to admit that I did not know a lot about them except that Aram had vetted them and I trust Aram.

When I walked into ANI I was immediately impressed that this was a throughly professional organization that was going to take good care of us.

We were there to get fitted in our Antarctic gear.  This was a large coat, pants, boots, and in my case gloves.

Back at the hotel we participated in a local legend.  Those that touch the foot of Magellan are destined to return. Before we left we heard several versions of the story.  The kissing the foot version required a couple of drinks.
